About

What Is Don't Worry, Be Purple?

This is our third year opening our farm for a special event when purple dominates our landscape as our lavender starts blooming. Enjoy a beautiful, relaxing spring day on the farm — observe the animals, breathe in the lovely scent of lavender, and let yourself slow down.

Listen to the delightful Celtic sounds of Barrowburn from 11 am until 2 pm. Be serenaded by our Guinea Fowl. Be enchanted by our sheep, alpacas, llamas, and Angora goats.

Treat yourself. Shop our artisan vendors and our own Two Dachshund Farm Store for specialty gifts to remember the day. Refresh with a hotdog or pizza slice, a cold drink, and top it off with a Sunset Slushie.

Try your hand at needle felting or making a lavender wand.

Our Story

Who We Are

We are a small agritourism farm in Franklin County. We grow a small crop of lavender (which blooms about mid-May through mid-June) and raise fiber animals — alpacas, llamas, sheep, and Angora goats.

We offer farm tours, a farm stay, and we sell fresh and dried lavender, products made with lavender and lavender essential oils, fiber products, fair-trade alpaca products, and locally made handcrafts. We do not make our own essential oil.
