About Our Tours

Enjoy a 45 to 60 minute guided, educational, walking tour of our family-owned, working fiber and lavender farm. Meet our fiber and non-fiber farm animals including our alpacas, llamas, Angora goats, sheep, donkeys, horses, Angora rabbits, chickens, and Guinea fowl.

Learn about fiber farming – how we shear our fiber animals and how we process the fiber into various products or works of art. Feel the difference between the different types of fiber and learn how animal fibers are combined and processed to make roving, felted sheets, dryer balls, and yarn.

Learn about lavender – the different types, how to plant it, and its many uses.

We have some lovely products in our farm store made from animal fibers and lavender.

You will have the opportunity, with our supervision, to give our animals treats that we provide. This is included in the cost of your admission. Please do not feed plants or other items to the animals. If you’d like to donate treats, our animals love apples, animal cookies, carrots, lettuces, watermelon, and pumpkins. Our goats and sheep would love your pumpkins or jack-o-lanterns after Halloween and your green Christmas trees after Christmas. You can drop them off near the farm store.

Allow time after your tour to visit our farm store.

Bring a picnic lunch or snacks to enjoy after your tour. There is an area to picnic with some tables and umbrellas.
